Corpo leggeroTramin's Müller Thurgau is produced from 100% Müller Thurgau grapes grown in the territory of Termeno (BZ). The vineyards of origin insist on hilly soils of calcareous-gravelly and clayey matrix and are located at an altitude between 500 and 850 metres above sea level. After the manual harvest, the grapes were subjected to soft pressing. The alcoholic fermentation, which converted the sugars into alcohol, takes place in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of 19° C; the refinement took place for a few months always in steel. Müller Thurgau is a grape of German origin, created at the end of the 19th century by the Swiss winemaker Hermann Müller Thurgau, through the crossing of Riesling Renano and Madeleine Royale; today it is widespread in various parts of the world including Italy, especially in Trentino Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Tramin's Müller Thurgau has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections in the glass. On the nose, it reveals aromas of apricot and yellow pulp fruit that intertwine with herbaceous and nutmeg hints. The sip is fresh and aromatic, supported by an evident minerality that persists in the finish played on spicy notes. Excellent as an aperitif, at the table, it goes well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as exquisite seafood recipes based on white fish and shellfish.
