The Sauvignon Quarz by Terlan is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on soils characterized by volcanic porphyry, at an altitude between 300 and 550 meters above sea level. After manual harvesting, the whole bunches were gently pressed. The alcoholic fermentation of the must took place at a controlled temperature. The wine was aged for 9 months, 50% in wooden barrels and 50% in stainless steel tanks, in contact with the fine lees. The blend was created three months before bottling.

SAUVIGNON ALTO ADIGE QUARZ TERLAN: THE TASTING

The Sauvignon Quarz by Terlan appears in the glass with a brilliant straw-yellow color. On the nose, it releases aromas of tropical yellow fruit, mint, lemon balm and lemongrass, followed by hints of gooseberry, flint and sweet spices. The palate is harmonious and complex, enhanced by layered minerality and a gentle freshness that lingers through the long finish. At the table, it can be fully enjoyed with cheeses and vegetarian dishes, as well as with flavorful preparations based on white fish, mollusks and shellfish.
