The Frascati Superiore di Villa Gordiani is born from Malvasia di Candia Malvasia Puntinata and Trebbiano Toscano grapes harvested in the first decade of September. The vineyards, trained with the guyot method, are located on volcanic soils rich in phosphorus and potassium. The white winemaking process involved alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 12-13°C. The aging took place for several months in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees.
The Frascati Superiore di Villa Gordiani shows a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it opens with aromas of yellow pulp fruit accompanied by hints of chamomile and white flowers, along with subtle notes of aromatic herbs. The taste is soft, fresh, and distinctly mineral with a pleasant citrusy finish. It pairs well with cheeses, vegetarian dishes, as well as delicious seafood recipes based on white fish, mollusks, and crustaceans.
