The Rock Angel di Château D'Esclans is an iconic rosé, a true gem of the viticulture of Provence. The blend consists of Graenache, Rolle, Syrah, Tibouren, and Cinsault grapes grown in the territory of La Motte, a small town in the Var department (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur). After the harvest, which took place in the month of September, the grape bunches were transported to the cellar and subjected to further manual selection. The winemaking process included crushing, pre-maceration at cold temperatures (8°C), and soft pressing: part of the obtained must underwent a brief contact with the skins. Following fermentation, part of the wine aged for several months in large wooden barrels and part in stainless steel, before being blended and bottled.

The taste is irresistibly fresh and savory, elegant and soft. The finish is long and fruity with a touch of salinity. It pairs well with tasty seafood dishes, especially those with a tomato base.
