Alba Rosea di Rallo is an organic rosé made from Perricone grapes grown in the Alcamo (TP) area. The vineyards, facing south and south-east, grow on sandy soils at an altitude of around 200 metres above sea level. After manual harvesting, the grapes were transferred to the cellar and softly pressed to obtain the must. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 22-24°C and was accompanied by 15-20 days' maceration on the skins. Refinement was for a short period in steel and 3 months in the bottle.
Alba Rosea Terre Siciliane di Rallo shines in the glass with a brilliant coral pink colour. The nose shows off a bouquet all played out on notes of morello cherry, red fruits and wild flowers. On the palate it is fresh, savoury and fruity, with excellent persistence of flavour. It goes very well with cured meats, cheeses and exquisite seafood dishes, especially shellfish. Surprising in combination with pizza.
