The Trento DOC Rosè di Letrari comes from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from the Vallagarina area, in the province of Trento. After manual harvesting, the clusters arrived at the winery for vinification, which, in the case of Pinot Noir, included a must maceration phase on the skins. Following the blending, the wine was transferred to the bottle where a second fermentation took place necessary for the sparkle, following the rules of the Classic Method or Champenoise. Before disgorgement, Letrari's Trentodoc Brut Rosé matured for 18 months in contact with the lees.

TRENTO DOC ROSE' LETRARI: TASTING

The Trento DOC Rosè di Letrari is presented to the eye with a bright pale pink color enhanced by a fine perlage. On the nose, aromas of cherry and red berry forest fruits prevail, meeting hints of aromatic herbs and citrus notes of mandarin. The palate is velvety, fresh, and mineral, supported by a distinctly fruity taste and a long almond finish. At the table, it is best enjoyed with cold cuts and cheeses as well as paired with delicious seafood recipes with a tomato base.
