Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Dolcetto d'Alba di Costa di Bussia comes from the few rows that the company has of this historical, indispensable grape variety. The Dolcetto vineyard, precisely 0.83 hectares, is exposed to the south and influenced by the richness of the Bussia soil; the 11 hectares of Costa di Bussia are in fact all on the homonymous hill characterized by a heterogeneity of soils, partly consisting of sandstones and marls, partly of clays and marls. The small production that results from it is intended as the everyday wine of Langhe. The grapes are vinified in steel, just like the wine ages for 6 months in steel tanks before being bottled.
The Dolcetto d'Alba di Costa di Bussia is ruby red with purplish flashes. On the nose, it is fresh and fragrant, with scents of raspberries, cherries, blueberry juice, and lilac flowers. On the palate, it significantly proposes the fruit again, set in a fine and dense tannic texture, with juicy acidity and perfectly integrated alcohol. Its companion is Fassona beef tartare.
