The Taurasi di Fiorentino is produced in just over 3,000 bottles a year. The grapes come from the Contrada Casale di Paternopoli, a vineyard planted in 2008 that covers an area of 1.4 hectares, on medium-textured soil tending to clayey, with low yields that lead to a complex wine with a high alcoholic and polyphenolic potential, suitable for long periods of ageing. The grapes are traditionally vinified in thermo-conditioned steel vats, the wine is then aged in large barrels and bottles.
TAURASI FIORENTINO: TASTING
The Taurasi di Fiorentino is presented in a shiny ruby glass with rouge noir reflections. On the nose, it opens slowly: at first impact, there are evolved aromas of leather, tobacco, coffee and black tea, then blackberries and blueberries in jam and undergrowth with balsamic tones make their way. The sip is a tasty amalgam of tannin, freshness, fruit and spices. Very good accompanied with beef stew, as with fillet of venison with mountain herbs.Product specifications
