Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Spumante Metodo Classico Brut di Murgo is born from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on trellises on volcanic sandy soils, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. After manual harvesting, which took place not at full ripeness, the clusters were transported to the cellar for vinification starting with gentle pressing. The alcoholic fermentation of the must took place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14°C for 20 days. The aging process lasted 7-8 months in stainless steel. According to the rules of the Metodo Classico, the second fermentation - which allowed for the sparkling effect - occurred in the bottle where the wine rested for about 24 months in contact with the yeast.
The Spumante Metodo Classico Brut di Murgo presents itself with a lively straw yellow color enhanced by a fine perlage. On the nose, it begins with notes of peach and green apple that combine with hints of white flowers and subtle herbal and bread crust notes. The taste is fresh and creamy, supported by a pronounced minerality that lingers in the long citrusy finish. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs excellently with vegetarian dishes as well as flavorful seafood recipes, especially raw and fried dishes.
