Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Salina Bianco di Hauner is obtained from Inzolia and Catarratto grapes grown on the beautiful island of Salina, part of the Aeolian Islands archipelago. The vineyards here lie on soils of volcanic origin, particularly rich in minerals and organic substances that deeply influence the wine's character, just like the nearby sea. The white winemaking process, meaning without maceration of the must in contact with the skins, took place entirely in stainless steel tanks. The expected aging period was 3 months in the bottle.
The Salina Bianco di Hauner presents itself with a straw-yellow color and golden reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of tropical yellow fruit intertwined with clear hints of Mediterranean scrubland and notes of yellow citrus. The taste is fresh and distinctly mineral. The finish is pleasant and persistent, characterized by herbaceous and fruity undertones. It pairs well with vegetarian dishes or seafood recipes, such as an exquisite grilled seabass drizzled with herb-infused oil.
