The Ribolla Gialla di Bastianich was obtained from 100% Ribolla Gialla di BastianichRibolla Gialla grapes. The vineyards, facing South, Southwest, are rooted in soils characterized by Eocene marl with a limestone and clay base also known as ponca, at an altitude of about 120-180 meters above sea level. The harvest took place in the first decade of September, with a yield of 80-90 quintals per hectare. In the winery, the clusters were hand-selected and gently pressed. The alcoholic fermentation of the must took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C, for a period of 15-20 days. The aging occurred for 3-4 months in stainless steel in contact with the fine lees.
The Ribolla Gialla di Bastianich offers an intense straw yellow color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of tropical yellow fruit meeting hints of broom and wild flowers, and notes of aromatic herbs, flintstone, and citrus. The taste is fresh and intense, supported by a pronounced minerality that persists in the finish. Excellent as an aperitif, at the table it pairs well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as tasty seafood dishes.
