The Pinot Nero by Gian Luca Colombo is made from 100% Pinot Nero grapes from the territories of Novello and Dogliani, in the province of Cuneo. The original vineyards, facing North or Northeast, are located at an altitude between 360 and 550 meters above sea level. The winery's production philosophy dictates that each wine is the unique interpretation of grape variety, terroir, and vintage. For this reason, vinification and aging processes vary from year to year. For this splendid Pinot Nero, aging usually takes place in large Austrian oak barrels and sometimes in terracotta for a period of 12-14 months. No clarifications or filtrations are made.

The Pinot Nero by Gian Luca Colombo appears in the glass with a delicate ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, aromas of small wild berries emerge, combined with hints of violet and subtle notes of toasted and dark spices. The palate is silky and elegant, enhanced by robust yet gentle tannins and a persistent finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as with flavorful red meat or game-based dishes.
