Corpo medioNebbiolo Gian Luca Colombo 2024 is a Piedmontese red wine from the Langhe DOC appellation, produced by Gian Luca Colombo from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It comes from a single vineyard over fifty years old and expresses the grape variety with depth, precision and vertical structure, in line with an artisanal, organic and biodynamic approach.
The wine undergoes a long maceration that may last up to fifty days, giving it density, firmness and a distinctive tannic texture. Ageing takes place for 13-24 months in wood, enhancing the noble, austere character of Nebbiolo while preserving its natural elegance.
In the glass, it shows a light ruby red colour. The nose is elegant, with aromas of withered rose, ripe cherry and delicate spicy hints of cinnamon. On the palate, it is tense, structured and deep, with firm tannins, vertical progression and a long finish.
An excellent match for rich Italian and Piedmontese dishes, it pairs beautifully with braised meats, roasts, game, aged cheeses and generous pasta dishes such as tajarin with meat ragù.
