Sirmian comes from the vineyards of Sirmiano, on the slopes that frame Nalles, at almost 1000 meters above sea level, where the rocky soils are rich in porphyry, marble, limestone, and mica. The alpine climate allows for a slightly late harvest; the wine is processed in steel, then aged in oak barrels for about 8 months.
