The Nu Vino Rosso di Gian Luca Colombo is a wine that goes beyond the norm, which, as the producer says, should be consumed as soon as possible. It is produced by blending multiple wines obtained from the estate's dark berry grapes, namely Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Pelaverga, and Pinot Nero, each in varying percentages from year to year. The aging process takes place in large wooden casks for a short period of time. The bottling always occurs before the Easter following the harvest. No clarification or filtration operations are carried out.

The Nu Vino Rosso di Gian Luca Colombo presents itself in the glass with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of cherry and ripe wild berries intertwine with balsamic hints and subtle notes of damp earth. The palate is enveloping and straightforward, enhanced by soft tannins and an intriguing fresh-savory trail that lingers in the finish. It pairs well with cured meats, aged cheeses, and flavorful dishes based on red meats.
