The Nebbiolo di Cascina Roccalini was obtained from 100% Nebbiolo di Cascina Roccalini grapes grown in the estate vineyards located southwest of Barbaresco (CN). The red vinification process included an alcoholic fermentation phase activated by indigenous yeasts, accompanied by a 60-day maceration of the must on the submerged cap of the skins. The expected refinement was 8 months in cement tanks. No clarification or filtration operations were carried out.

NEBBIOLO CASCINA ROCCALINI: TASTING NOTES

The Nebbiolo di Cascina Roccalini presents itself with a ruby red color and bright reflections. On the nose, it opens with scents of ripe red fruits followed by floral notes of violet and hints of aromatic herbs and dark spices. The palate is deep and structured, enhanced by silky tannins and a long, warm balsamic and spicy finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as rich earthy dishes based on red meats or game.
