The Barolo Patres di Sansilvestro was obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the 11 municipalities of the prestigious Barolo DOCG located in the province of Cuneo. The aging process took place for 18 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and for a further 20 months in the bottle. It is an interesting interpretation of Barolo, a world-famous red wine and the flagship of the wine territory of the Langhe, known as "the wine of kings" and "the king of wines."
BAROLO PATRES SANSILVESTRO: TASTING
The Barolo Patres di Sansilvestro presents itself in the glass with a seductive garnet red color. On the nose, it releases aromas of small red fruits in jam that combine with hints of potpourri and memories of sweet oriental spices. Light notes of toasted and dried fruits complete the olfactory profile. On the palate, it is sumptuous and elegant, enhanced by incredibly velvety tannins and a persistent finish. It pairs well at the table with aged cheeses as well as rich land-based recipes with red meats or game.
