The Friulano Ronco delle Cime di Venica is one of the most representative labels of the company. The vineyards located in Dolegna del Collio, the small town (333 inhabitants!) Within the boundaries of which all the company's vineyards are located, have an altitude of 200 metres above sea level and are exposed to the North West. The harvest took place in the first ten days of September; the grapes were macerated at a low temperature for one day, with a cap of recycled carbon dioxide for protection. 40% of the mass was then fermented and aged in large barrels for 6 months, the rest in steel, blending and bottling with full moons between the end of March and April.
The Friulano Ronco delle Cime di Venica shines in the glass with a straw yellow colour with golden flashes; the nose is beautiful and engaging, with balsamic notes of pine resin and rosemary, spicy, fresh and pungent of coriander and ginger, fruity of apple and apricot, all elegantly linked by salty notes. On the palate, it has a well-balanced structure, freshness and softness, with great flavour and characterised by fruity and balsamic notes. A happy drink that goes perfectly with summer dishes such as rigatoni with tomato, ricotta and basil, or with a good 24-month San Daniele ham.
