The Cont'Ugo Bolgheri Rosso Guado al Tasso di Antinori is a red wine made from 100% Merlot grapes. The vineyards are located on predominantly alluvial loam-clay soils, at an altitude ranging from 45 to 60 meters above sea level. After the manual selection and harvesting, the grapes were sent to the cellar for red wine vinification. Alcoholic fermentation, with a 20-day maceration of the must on the skins, took place in stainless steel tanks. Aging occurred for 12 months in barriques and an additional 6 months in the bottle.
