The Nikka Coffey Malt is a unique product. Normally, whiskies made from 100% malted barley are distilled in traditional copper pot stills, so having a malt whisky distilled in a continuous column still is a rarity. The Nikka Coffey Malt has a very subtle aromatic profile, but with rich fruity aromas obtained precisely due to the distillation method. Since it doesn't carry any age statement on the label, it follows the philosophy of No Age Statement, allowing the chief blender great freedom to select the best barrels from the Miyagikiyo distillery. It's a bottle that's hard to find in the Scotch or American whisky scene. Recommended pairing: Italian panettone!
