Vintage Tunina by Jermann is an amazing wine, the result of a selection of grapes characteristic of Friuli, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, Sauvignon and a small percentage of Picolit, grown in a vineyard of about 16 hectares in the Ronco del Fortino area (GO). The grapes are harvested about 2 weeks after the normal harvest with a yield between 40 and 60 quintals per hectare. The refinement foresees, for a part of the wine, a passage in cask. The name Tunina is a tribute to the old owner of the vineyard, but also to one of the lovers of the passionate Giacomo Casanova, Tunina, a Venetian housekeeper. It has been considered by many to be an amazing meditation white.

VINTAGE TUNINA JERMANN: TASTING

Jermann's Vintage Tunina presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow colour interwoven with shining golden nuances. Wide, intense and elegant, the nose releases aromas of honey, white flowers and tropical fruit that combine with mineral hints and notes of yellow citrus. Soft and balanced, on the palate, it reveals great structure and an extraordinary persistence that make it suitable to be tasted on special occasions, especially paired with succulent second courses based on fish or white meat.
