The Teroldego Sgarzon by Foradori is made from 100% Teroldego grapes grown in the estate’s eponymous vineyard, rooted in alluvial soils with a sandy prevalence. During vinification, alcoholic fermentation was initiated by indigenous yeasts in Spanish terracotta amphorae, the tinajas de Villarrobledo. The must macerated on the skins for 8 months in the same containers. The wine was then aged for a few months in concrete tanks.

The Teroldego Sgarzon Vigneti delle Dolomiti Rosso by Foradori displays a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of red fruits, violet, and underbrush, combined with hints of damp earth and dark spices. On the palate, it is rich and structured, supported by round tannins and a distinct minerality that lingers in the finish. Best enjoyed with hearty dishes, especially those based on red meat or game.
