Sauvignon Sanct Valentin di San Michele Appiano is obtained from 100% Sauvignon grapes grown on calcareous gravelly soil in the areas of Appiano al Monte and San Michele, in the province of Bolzano, at an altitude of 400-600 metres above sea level. The refinement process took place for a few months in steel and 10% in oak barrels. The Sauvignon Sanct Valentin di San Michele Appiano shines with a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, there are intense aromas of elderflower, gooseberry, yellow pulp fruit and aromatic herbs. Wine with a warm and full body, it is mineral and extraordinarily fruity on the sip. Long and enveloping persistence. At the table, it goes well with seafood dishes, especially with tasty grilled fish, or with recipes based on vegetables.
