Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC Fallwind - San Michele Appiano

Only selected Sauvignon grapes from the Alto Adige region, specifically from San Michele Appiano, are used in the production of this wine. The wine is made using a temperature-controlled fermentation method lasting approximately 2 weeks. Afterward, it matures in French oak barrels for 6 months. Vinification takes place in a traditional manner with a special focus on the quality of the harvested grapes. The vines grow on calcareous soil with excellent sunlight exposure, which contributes to giving the wine its unique characteristics.

This wine has a bright golden color. On the nose, one can perceive intense aromas of exotic fruit such as passion fruit and mango, complemented by nuances of aromatic herbs. The palate is fresh, balanced, and persistent with a pleasant acidity. Thanks to its structure and complexity, it can be stored for an additional 5-7 years. It is recommended to serve it with fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheese.
