The Rosato Monte della Guardia by Ca' Lojera is produced with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in an equal percentage, whose vineyards are located on sunny stony morainic hills, facing the lake. The vinification in steel aims at the fresher and more fruity expression of the two grape varieties. Ambra and Franco Tiraboschi interpret each of their wines with the aim of making them the vector of the image and scent of the Lugana area and that southern part of Lake Garda.

ROSATO MONTE DELLA GUARDIA CA' LOJERA: TASTING

The Rosato Monte della Guardia by Ca' Lojera shows a lively cherry juice colour. The nose smells of raspberry, red currant, geranium, burnt white rock, freshly cut grass and mint, with a slight hint of pink pepper. In the mouth, it is fresh, savoury, thirst-quenching, with a closure on the fruit and light balms. A gratifying aperitif at the end of a long tiring day, it goes very well with fried pasta and fresh cold cuts, as well as with pizza and also with croutons with butter and marinated trout.
