The Pinot Grigio di Abbazia di Novacella is born from 100% Pinot Grigio di Abbazia di Novacella_EXTRACTED grapes from the area of Conca di Bressaone, in the province of Bolzano. The vineyards here are located on permeable morainic soils composed of micaceous schist, paragneiss, and quartzite, at an altitude between 600 and 700 meters above sea level. Vinification and aging took place for 3/4 in stainless steel and 1/4 in 30-hectoliter oak barrels.

The Pinot Grigio di Abbazia di Novacella presents itself with an intense straw yellow color. On the nose, it releases aromas of yellow flesh fruit that chase hints of lime and white flowers with light notes of wild herbs. The taste is fresh and mineral, supported by a pronounced fruity taste that lingers in the finish. It pairs well with vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood first and second courses.
