The Pinot Grigio of Cantina Bolzano is produced with grapes grown on sunny, alluvial and gravelly soils in Bolzano and on the Renon plateau. Bolzano is located in an area particularly suited for viticulture: in the centre of a large sunny basin and surrounded by steep slopes. The care and attention to the land and the vines is a matter of primary importance for the winemakers of Kellerei Bozen - Cantina Bolzano who every day use a sustainable and respectful approach to nature and the territory. The harvest takes place from the beginning of September; the grapes undergo a soft pressing, the must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature, and the wine is subsequently refined in steel, to preserve its grit and freshness.

PINOT GRIGIO 2019 CANTINA BOLZANO: TASTING

Cantina Bolzano's Pinot Grigio 2019 has an intense straw yellow colour with golden reflections. On the nose, it is youthful, in the fermentative notes of apple and pear, enriched by references to honey, walnuts, white flowers, all on an aromatic mineral background. The sip is quite fresh and savoury, balanced and very inviting to drink. Excellent with cuttlefish in zimino.
