was obtained from 100% Piedirosso grapes grown on volcanic soils in the territory of Sant'Anastasia (NA), on the northwest side of Vesuvius. Once in the cellar, the clusters were destemmed whole berry for vinification. Alcoholic fermentation with maceration of the must in contact with the skins took place in stainless steel. The aging was for 10 months in stainless steel plus an additional 3 months in the bottle. The name Vipt derives from the past participle of the verb Vippere, which in Neapolitan dialect means to drink.

The Piedirosso Vipt di Cantine Olivella is an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of small red berries combined with hints of red flowers and subtle notes of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is pleasant and balanced, supported by soft and light tannins. Excellent as an all-around meal wine, it pairs well at the table with delicious earthy recipes, especially those based on red meats.
