The grapes for the Barolo Patrizi come from three distinct vineyards and are fermented and macerated in stainless steel for about 20 days at controlled temperatures (28-29°C). The aging takes place separately in Austrian and Slavonian oak barrels, with capacities ranging between 40-60 and 75 hl, for a period of 30 months. Afterward, the different Barolo wines are blended in the spring and bottled at the end of the summer. The final aging, which lasts six months, takes place in the bottle before commercialization.

Barolo DOCG - Patrizi: Tasting Notes

The wine presents a brilliant garnet red color. On the nose, it is intense and ethereal, with notes of chinotto, pepper, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, and persistent, with well-present tannins. The finish is long and persistent, with a delicate fruity aftertaste reminiscent of jam.
