The Merlot di Fina is a pure Merlot di FinaMerlot wine produced exclusively from grapes grown on espalier trellises, at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level. The harvest took place at the end of August, with a yield of 85 quintals per hectare. In the cellar, the alcoholic fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks. The aging process took place for a short period in stainless steel tanks and for 12 months in barriques.

MERLOT FINA: TASTING NOTES

Cantine Fina's Merlot di FinaMerlot is ruby red in color with purple reflections. On the nose, there are strong notes of wild berries combined with delicate hints of red flowers and warm memories of black pepper and dark spices. The taste is full and round, with smooth tannins. The fruity and spicy finish is pleasant and persistent. This wine pairs well with aged cheeses, flavorful meat dishes, roasts, and grilled meats.
