The Lugana Benedictus di Le MoretteLugana Benedictus of the winery Le Morette comes from the oldest company vineyard. The lands in this area around the Lake originated from the transport action of the Garda glacier and are characterized by a layering of compact calcareous and marly clay. This characteristic, combined with the mild microclimate of the lake, with protection from the surrounding mountains and strong temperature variations, allows for healthy and high-quality viticulture. The Turbiana grapes are handpicked at perfect ripeness, in the third decade of October, they macerate briefly, then ferment in steel with temperature control around 16°C. A portion of the must completes fermentation in oak tonneaux, then the wine ages for 6 months partly in steel, partly in tonneaux.

On the nose, enveloped in a delicate smoky mineral embrace, aromas of acacia flowers, pineapple, cedar, mentholated balsam, and cardamom are released. The palate is fresh and savory, long and refreshing, with hints of aromatic herbs. Goes well with tench risotto!
