The Leone Blend di Tasca d'Almerita is born from Catarratto (49%), Sauvignon (18%), Pinot Bianco (15%), Gewürztraminer (10%), and Moscato (8%) grapes. The vineyards are located in high hills, at an altitude between 500 and 900 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out with a yield of about 65 quintals per hectare. During vinification, the alcoholic fermentation phase took place for 15 days in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14-16 °C. The refinement took place always in stainless steel, for a period of 4 months, in contact with the yeasts.

The Leone Blend di Tasca d'Almerita presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses scents of white pulp fruit and tropical fruits that combine with hints of spring flowers and notes of Mediterranean citrus. The taste is intense and pleasant, enhanced by a clear fresh-savory trail that lingers in the finish. It pairs well with vegetarian dishes and rich seafood recipes such as fried fish.
