The Lagrein Riserva Porphir di Terlan is obtained from 100% Lagrein grapes. The vineyards, located in the South-West, are situated at an altitude between 250 and 270 meters above sea level. After manual harvesting in the cellar, the bunches were destemmed and sent for vinification, which included alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation and 18 months of aging took place in barriques, with 1/3 being new. The blending of the various plots occurred three months before bottling. The name Porphir derives from the type of rock on which the vineyards grow.

The Lagrein Riserva Porphir di Terlan presents a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it offers scents of ripe cherry and potpourri of red flowers, intertwined with evolved notes of roasted coffee, black tea, and vanilla. Completing the bouquet are hints of licorice, cloves, and dark spices. The sip is intense and concentrated, heightened by a refined minerality and an enveloping fruity and spicy taste. The long finish is characterized by notes of chocolate. It pairs well with aged cheeses and rich dishes based on red meats or game.
