Monkey 47 Gin is considered one of the best gins in the world. Its origins date back to the early 1950s when Montgomery Collins, a former commander of the British Royal Air Force, moved to northern Germany, in the Black Forest region, and began producing a very distinctive gin by combining spices he had encountered during his time in India with herbs from the forest.

The recipe was lost, but when it was rediscovered in his old hotel, renowned master distiller Christoph Keller embraced it, giving birth to Monkey 47 Gin. Its 47 botanicals, combined with aging in terracotta, give the gin a unique and distinctive flavor that has gained global acclaim.
