Friulano Roi Clar is an intense and expressive white wine from the Friuli Colli Orientali, made from Friulano grapes grown on vines over 100 years old, officially recorded in 1950 but already existing before then.

The vines grow on mixed marl soils and the grapes are harvested by hand to preserve the quality of the fruit. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel with native yeasts, followed by 12 months of ageing in sustainable Sirio amphorae and a further 4-6 months in bottle.

In the glass, it shows a yellow colour with elegant golden reflections. The nose is precise and distinctive, with notes of Lebanon cedar, tobacco, acacia blossom and linden flowers. On the palate, it immediately reveals power, elegance, minerality and savoury depth, with a complexity that reflects the age of the vines.

A versatile and gastronomic wine, it pairs beautifully with white meats, fish and shellfish. It is also an excellent match for delicate cured meats and hard cheeses, from younger styles to more aged selections.
