Berlucchi's Franciacorta Rosè Nature '61 is one of the latest labels born in the line that celebrates the company's foundation date. The grapes are 100% Pinot Noir coming exclusively from 3 owned vineyards: Ragnoli, Quindicipiò and Gaspa, all with high plant density. The harvest takes place in late August; followed by soft and progressive pressing of the grapes for the portion of must vinified in white, cold pre-maceration for about 24 hours and subsequent soft pressing for the portion vinified in rosé. The alcoholic fermentation of the musts takes place in steel vats, with subsequent ageing of 6 months in contact with the yeasts. A small amount of Pinot Noir is vinified in red with fermentation maceration for about 7 days. The preparation of the cuvée takes place in the spring following the harvest, exclusively with 100% of the vintage wines and the ageing on the lees lasts at least 5 years, followed by another 6 months before being put on the market after disgorgement.

The Rosè Nature '61 by Berlucchi is bright pink, between peach blossom and coral, with an elegant perlage. On the nose, it is fragrant and mineral, with notes of blueberry and citrus. On the palate, it is very balanced between softness and some severity of Pinot Noir. Perfect with tuna tartare.
