The Etna Rosso di Murgo is obtained from 90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Mantellato or Cappuccio grapes from the eastern slopes of Mount Etna. The vineyards are located on volcanic soil, at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. During the red wine vinification, the alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 28-29°C for 7-8 days. The aging lasted for 6-8 months in the typical chestnut wood barrels of Mount Etna.

ETNA ROSSO MURGO: TASTING

The Etna Rosso di Murgo presents a ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe red berries combined with hints of black pepper, cloves, and dark oriental spices. The palate is intense and balanced, supported by a clear minerality that lingers in the finish. It pairs excellently with flavorful meat-based dishes, such as red meats or game.
