The Etna Rosso 'A Rina di Girolamo Russo is produced from 94% Nerello Mascalese grapes and 6% Nerello Cappuccio. The vineyards where the grapes originated are three: San Lorenzo, 12 hectares at the gates of Randazzo, nestled on the lower-mountain slopes of the volcano, between 700 and 800 meters on not very old lava flows, which have formed young and porous soils, rich in sharp volcanic stones that ensure excellent drainage; Feudo, 6 hectares, whose soil the ancient Greeks (those who inhabited the settlement from which the current city of Randazzo would be born) had discovered to be deep and generous, planting the vines themselves, is characterized by a microclimate influenced by the winds blowing from Valdemone; Calderara Sottana, between 600 and 700 meters in altitude, with soil covered with light pumice and basalt stones that retain daytime heat and release it at night. The wine aging process lasts about a year between barriques and tonneaux.

The Etna Rosso 'A Rina di Girolamo Russo enters the glass with a beautiful bright ruby red color; on the nose, it has red fruits alongside notes of leather, tobacco, and menthol balms. In the mouth, it is elegant, flavorful, with good acidic and tannic presence. Fun to taste with smoked spaghetti with true clams, pistachio, and bottarga.
