The Bolgheri Rosso DOC Villa Donoratico by Tenuta Argentiera derives from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Petit Verdot (5%) grown on clayey, sandy and calcareous soils at an altitude between 150 and 180 metres above sea level. After the manual harvest, the grapes were vinified separately with alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration for 20/25 days at a controlled temperature and malolactic fermentation in barriques. The assembly took place after the refinement which took place for 12 months in barriques and a further 10 months in the bottle.

Bolgheri Rosso DOC Villa Donoratico of Tenuta Argentiera shines in the glass with an intriguing ruby red colour with purple reflections. On the nose, it releases seductive aromas of wild berries intertwined with notes of coffee and dark spices. The sip is soft and elegant, enhanced by a smooth tannic texture and a fine fresh-savoury balance. A long balsamic finish. At the table, it goes well with aged cheeses or opulent courses based on red meats or game.
