The Champagne Saint Pètersbourg by Veuve Clicquot owes its name to the initiative and commercial courage of Barbe Nicole Ponsardin, the "widow Clicquot", who in 1814 managed to overcome the continental block that immobilized Europe in commercial exchanges, bringing his Champagne to St. Petersburg. This cuvée is made up of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, coming from over 50 different crus. The wine enters the market after about 3 and a half years of standing on the yeasts.

The Cuvée Saint Pètersbourg by Veuve Clicquot shows itself in the glass with an intense straw yellow with golden reflections, sparkling with the fine grain of the perlage. On the nose, it is gratifying in the notes of ripe fruit, dried fruit, bread with butter and a subtle citrus. In the mouth, it is fresh and savoury in a balanced way, with a taste shifted to spice and toasted notes. A good accompaniment for most of the seafood dinner; perfect with grilled prawns and vegetables.
