Aroma fruttato
Corpo leggeroThe Prosecco Valdobbiadebe Brut di Borgoluce is Prosecco at its expression of understated elegance. The grapes come from vineyards between Susegana and Collalto, located at 200/300 meters above sea level; these hills of morainic origin have clayey soils with a high calcium carbonate content. Borgoluce is 1000 hectares of woods, pastures, vineyards, and cereal fields in Susegana in the province of Treviso: a farm that, in harmony with the environment, takes care of this land, one of the most beautiful and flourishing in Valdobbiadene. The harvest takes place in mid-September; following the gentle pressing of whole grapes is a slow fermentation by carefully selected yeasts at a temperature of 10C; then aging on the noble lees for 4 months. The sparkling process then takes place in an autoclave following the Charmat method (with residual sugar of 8g/L) and the wine further matures for a month in the bottle before being released on the market.
The Prosecco Valdobbiadebe Brut di Borgoluce is a straw-yellow color, illuminated by long chains of bubbles. On the nose, it offers very fine aromas of pear, apple, peach, hawthorn, as well as sage and lemon peel. The taste is rich, creamy, fresh, and savory. An interesting and daring pairing with fried lamb bites and herb mayonnaise.
