Corpo medio
The Bolgheri Bianco Criseo di Guado al Melo originates from a blend of Vermentino, Fiano, Verdicchio, Petit Manseng, and Manzoni Bianco grapes, grown in the hilly area of Bolgheri (Livorno), one of the most prestigious in the world in the wine sector. The original vineyard, named Campo Bianco, sits on alluvial soils with a fine clayey-sandy character, with a good presence of pebbles. The grapes that make up Criseo are harvested in a single passage and co-fermented. Aging takes place in contact with the noble lees in stainless steel tanks for a period of about 12 months, followed by a further 10-11 months in the bottle.
BOLGHERI BIANCO CRISEO GUADO AL MELO: TASTING NOTES
The Bolgheri Bianco Criseo di Guado al Melo reveals itself with a straw-yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it releases aromas of peach and yellow-fleshed fruit that blend with hints of white spring flowers and notes of Mediterranean herbs. Completing the olfactory profile are memories of acacia honey and yellow citrus zest. The palate is fresh and enveloping, enhanced by a clear minerality that lingers in the long finish. It pairs well with semi-aged cheeses, vegetarian dishes, and delicious seafood recipes based on white fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.Product specifications
