Corpo medioThe Bellone NZÙ di Marco Carpineti is inspired by its origins: "NZÙ in the local language means “together”. Like in ancient Rome, from Bellone grapes, from working with horses, from natural fermentation and aging in terracotta amphorae. NZÙ links, like a line without discontinuity, the certainty and vigor of the past with a sustainable “ancient future”. We are at the foot of the Lepini Mountains, in Cori, an ancient Lazio town dating back to the 4th century B.C.. Bellone grapes are a white berry variety always cultivated in this area; the bunches are harvested in September and gently pressed whole, then the must ferments spontaneously in terracotta amphorae where the wine subsequently also matures (the amphorae have capacities of 450 and 700 liters).
The Bellone NZÙ di Marco Carpineti presents itself as an intense straw yellow with bright golden reflections. Candied lemon peels, hazelnut, and beeswax welcome the nose with intense elegance, then briny and white pepper notes make their way. The taste is flavorsome, ample, fresh, and savory, a drink suitable for accompanying substantial dishes, both fish and meat, perfect pairing with seafood carbonara, as well as Roman-style saltimbocca.
