The Barolo Bricco Ambrogio di Paolo Scavino is obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the eponymous cru located in the territory of Roddi, in the province of Cuneo. The vineyard of origin - facing South, Southeast - is rooted in calcareous soils, characterized by the so-called marls of Sant'Agata, at an altitude of about 275 meters above sea level. After vinification carried out in stainless steel tanks, the Barolo Bricco Ambrogio di Paolo Scavino matured in barriques for 10 months followed by an additional 12 months in large casks. Before bottling, it rested for 9 months in the bottle.
BAROLO BRICCO AMBROGIO PAOLO SCAVINO: TASTING
The Barolo Bricco Ambrogio di Paolo Scavino shines in the glass with a ruby red color and garnet reflections. On the nose, it releases scents of ripe red berries intertwined with faded violet floral hints and notes of licorice and dark spices. Balsamic herb notes and nuances of undergrowth complement the olfactory profile. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, enhanced by velvety tannins and a long, gentle mineral finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as rich land-based recipes with red meats or game.Product specifications
