Aroma fruttato
Corpo robustoThe Amarone della Valpolicella di Villa Fura was obtained from a blend of 60% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, and 15% Rondinella grapes grown on pergolas, with Guyot pruning. The harvest was carefully carried out in the second half of September. In the cellar, the grape bunches were placed in small crates for drying, which lasted for 3-4 months. This naturally increased the sugar concentration of the berries. Subsequently, the grapes were destemmed and softly pressed to produce the must. Alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature for a period of 30 days. Before bottling, the wine aged for 24 months in large barrels.
The Amarone della Valpolicella di Villa Fura shines in the glass with a ruby red color and garnet reflections. On the nose, it displays aromas of cherry and ripe berries with hints of violet potpourri and enveloping notes of chocolate, tobacco, and dark spices. On the palate, it is warm, intense, and structured, supported by velvety tannins and a long spicy finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as rich earthy dishes based on red meats or game.
