The Macrina Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore di Garofoli is a white wine made from 100% Verdicchio grapes grown on medium-textured soils. The harvest was slightly delayed compared to the ripening of the bunches, which were then transferred to the cellar for white vinification. After soft pressing, the obtained must was fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine refined its characteristics for several months in stainless steel.

The Macrina Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore di Garofoli appears a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. To the nose, it expresses aromas of white pulpy fruit along with hints of acacia and elderflower blossoms and citrus notes of lemon. On the palate, it is soft, fresh, and mineral, with a pleasant finish of nettle and citrus. It pairs excellently with cheeses and vegetarian dishes, as well as light and tasty seafood dishes. Try it with cavatelli with cuttlefish and artichokes.
