Verdicchio Le Vaglie di Santa Barbara was born in 1992, with the intention of breaking out of the mould of tradition, making itself strong with that historical knowledge. The grapes come from vineyards at 250-260 metres above sea level, with different exposures, on sandy tuffaceous soils. The vinification takes place slowly in steel vats and at a controlled temperature, then the wine ages for a few months, again in steel. In 2012, on the occasion of the 20 years of production, in addition to the classic white label, another 5 coloured labels were created, which were then maintained and continued to animate the bottles.

The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Le Vaglie di Santa Barbara has a bright straw yellow colour with golden flashes. The nose has the characteristic scent of fresh almond, together with thyme, white peach, mimosa and bergamot. The mouth is fresh and soft, pleasantly savoury and with an almondy finish. Perfect with vegetable-based dishes, such as passatelli with courgette flowers, Marche pecorino cheese and lemon thyme.
