A white wine from Azienda Agricola Sciara, Ubriaco sulla Luna 2022 is made from a blend of 60% Carricante and 40% Catarratto, Minella Bianca and Garganega, grown on volcanic rocks and sandy soils at elevations between 720 and 1000 metres above sea level, in the crus of Carrana, Taccione and Monte Dolce.

Its production follows an artisanal and terroir-driven approach, with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, 32 days of maceration, and 16 months of ageing in stainless steel and oak barriques. Total production is limited to 1,550 bottles.

On the nose, it opens with refined aromas of apple and pear, joined by hints of chamomile and ginger. The palate is marked by an excellent freshness, supported by persistent saline and acidic nuances, while the finish brings back floral notes, honey and ginger with lovely consistency.

A versatile pairing for seafood pasta dishes and white meats, especially orange chicken.
