The Obvius Giallo Oro Dolce di Salcheto was obtained from Trebbiano (60%) and Malvasia (40%) grapes grown in the company vineyards of Poggio Piglia, in the area of Chiusi (SI). Before the harvest, the clusters were withered on the vine and allowed to be attacked by noble rot produced by Botrytis Cinerea, a fungus that metabolizes the grape skin forming a mold that imparts peculiar aromas to the fruits. After crushing and destemming, the alcoholic fermentation process began, which converted the sugars into alcohol, thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts. Before bottling, the Obvius Giallo Oro di Salcheto aged for 12 months in large oak barrels.

The Obvius Giallo Oro di Salcheto presents itself in the glass with a seductive golden yellow color. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of dried apricots intertwined with hints of hazelnuts and toasted dried fruit, delicate notes of saffron and aromatic herbs. The taste is sweet, rich, and soft, enhanced by a harmonious flavor playing on fruity and toasty hints and a well-balanced acidity with sweetness. It pairs well with aged and blue cheeses, as well as dry pastries and spoon sweets based on pastry cream.
