The Spumante Miano Brut di Castellucci Miano is made from 100% Catarratto grapes grown on the slopes of the Madonie mountains, in the Valle d'Olmo area, in the province of Palermo. The vineyards here consist of 30-40 year old vines, growing on clayey and sandy soils of medium texture, at an altitude ranging from 700 to 900 meters above sea level. The white winemaking process included a phase of alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. The second fermentation, necessary for the sparkling process, took place in an autoclave.

SPUMANTE MIANO BRUT CASTELLUCCI MIANO: TASTING

The Miano Brut shines in the glass with a lively straw yellow color highlighted by a fine perlage. On the nose, it offers aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit harmonizing with hints of spring white flowers and crisp citrus notes. Completing the olfactory profile are fragrant reminiscences of bread crust. The taste is fresh and enveloping, enhanced by a long floral and citrusy finish. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs well at the table with cured meats and fresh to medium-aged cheeses, as well as with light seafood dishes such as a delicious yellowtail and mango tartare.
